The TE Office may support the work of persons with partial work ability by providing a subsidy for arranging suitable working conditions.
As an employer, you can receive subsidy for arranging working conditions if the disability or illness of the person you are hiring or have hired requires
A maximum of 4 000 euros per person may be granted for the purchase of work equipment or renovations at the workplace. The subsidy must be applied for within one month after the purchase of the equipment or after the renovations have been completed. If needed, the subsidy can also be received in advance.
The employee to be hired may also need help with their work tasks due to their disability or illness. The job coach can help evaluate their need for assistance.
Compensation for another employee’s assistance during work tasks may be granted for a maximum of 20 work hours per month for a maximum of 18 months. A monthly retroactive payment of EUR 20 per hour is made on the basis of actual working hours. The application for compensation for another employee’s assistance during work tasks must be submitted to the TE Office within two months of the end of the payment period.
Apply for a subsidy for arranging working conditions from the TE Office in whose operating area the workplace is located. When assessing the need for support, the TE Office takes into account the harm caused by the disability or illness and the employer's financial position.
If the subsidy is needed for purchases or renovations required by a current employee, the employer must contribute to the costs by an amount deemed reasonable. The subsidy is not intended for normal improvements to ergonomics at the workplace.
