If you are an employer within the scope of the Act on Co-operation within Undertakings, you must notify your TE Office of your co-operation negotiations. In lay-off situations, the employee must be notified in person. With larger-scale lay-offs, the TE Office provides company-specific advice on lay-offs.
Employees who are being dismissed will have access to TE Office's change security services already during the period of notice. These TE Office services include support for the job search process as well as coaching and training that support re-employment.
