The transition security operating model will offer you support and assistance if you are dismissed or laid off. Hold on to your rights and duties, also in exceptional circumstances of an employment relationship.

The regional mobility of jobseekers can also be supported, for example by reimbursing expenses arising from travel to look for a job.
During the period of notice, you will be entitled to paid leave when you are looking for a job, or taking part in drawing up an employment plan or one of the measures included in the plan.
The duration of this leave will be 5–20 days, determined by the duration of your term of notice. It may not cause significant inconvenience to the company. You should notify your employer of your intention to take leave as soon as possible.

If you have been dismissed or laid off, you can get basic unemployment allowance at a higher rate for the time you participate in services facilitating your placement in a job, supposing there has been an agreement about the service in your personal employment plan.
When at least ten employees are dismissed at a time, the employer will prepare an action plan together with the staff. If the number of dismissed employees is less than ten, the employer will explain to them how the support services will work during the period of notice.
If the employee hires new staff within four months of terminations, they have the duty to first offer the position to the dismissed employees. If the employment relationship has lasted for 12 years, the rehiring period is six months.
