Tailor your application and CV for each job you apply for. Explain how you meet the selection criteria and what your strengths would be in the available position. Assess how well your skills meet the requirements of the job you are applying for. Try to make your application stand out so that you will be selected for an interview.

Write a comprehensive, one-page application and accompany it with your CV. Your application is an advertisement for your work contribution. Make it visually attractive. Present yourself, your skills and competence, and your personal properties that would be useful in the job you are applying for. Finally, say that you would gladly come to an interview to tell the employer more about yourself.

Your CV should contain your personal and contact details and a summary of your educational background and work history. Also add any information about yourself that could be of use in the job you are applying for. Such information could include language skills, IT skills, responsible positions, publications, hobbies and other special skills. 

Make sure, however, that your CV does not become too long. You can also publish your CV in various CV banks.

Carefully prepare for interviews. Find out information about the employer in advance and think about questions you could ask about the employer or the job during the interview. Be prepared to justify why you would be suitable for the job. Arrive at the interview on time.
