If you are planning to enter the job market or you are about to graduate or become unemployed, get an early start. The TE Office services provide help and tools for looking for a job or writing a job application. You can also receive coaching, for example in how to do well in a job interview.
Make use of our online services when looking for a job – they are available round the clock.
The Avoimet työpaikat (Vacancies) service shows all vacancies in the country. With the help of vacancy watch you can subscribe to information about suitable vacancies directly to your e-mail (in Finnish and Swedish).
Telephone service for personal customers provides information about the TE Office's services and guidance in using the online and other services
When you register as a jobseeker with the TE Office, we can market you to employers. If you become unemployed, register with the TE Office as a jobseeker at the latest on the first day of your unemployment by using our online jobseeker form.
If you are aged less than 25, or if you are a recently graduated unemployed jobseeker aged 25-29, you are within the Youth Guarantee. Once you have registered as a jobseeker, you will have access to services that you will plan together with the TE Office and that will help you in your search for a job.
You may also receive a pay subsidy card from the TE Office, which will considerably improve your chances of finding a job.
If you are a customer of the local government trial on employment, your municipality of residence can help you with the job search. Contact your municipality of residence if you are interested in finding employment with pay subsidy. If your municipality of residence estimates that you need a pay subsidy for finding employment, you can obtain a pay subsidy card from your municipality of residence to show to the employer. If you have not received a pay subsidy card, you can find the information on your possibilities to receive pay subsidy in your employment plan.
