Cross-sectoral joint service promoting employment

Cross-sectoral joint service: when services provided by the authorities need to be coordinated

The cross-sectoral joint service promoting employment (TYP) is a joint operating model by the TE Office, the municipality and Kela and it helps jobseekers who have been unemployed for a long period of time.

The cross-sectoral joint service gives jobseekers access to services provided by different authorities on a one-stop-shop basis. The service is available in every TE Office and in all municipalities in mainland Finland.

The cross-sectoral joint service helps you find out what services you need to promote your employment, and a cross-sectoral employment plan will be prepared with you. The plan may include public employment services, social and health care services and rehabilitation services.

Your TE Office, municipality or Kela will direct you to the right type of TYP service. You can enquire about the criteria for accessing the service from your personal official and request to be directed to multisectoral joint services.

Instructions for customers in local government pilots on employment

If you are a customer of the local government pilot on employment, your municipality of residence will direct you to a cross-sectoral joint service that promotes employment (TYP) if necessary. In the cross-sectoral joint service, your municipality of residence prepares a multidisciplinary employment plan with you.
