New competence through labour force training

5 August 2020

TE Offices arrange a wide range of labour market training programmes through which you can study a full or partial basic degree or a vocational or specialist vocational qualification. In addition, additional and continuing training are offered.

Some vocational labour market training can be completed fully or partially remotely. Trainings are also completely free of charge for participants.

During labour force training, you can receive the same benefits as if you were unemployed. If you have agreed to labour force training in your employment plan or a similar plan, you are eligible for an increase in your unemployment benefits.

Applying for training is done mainly through an online application. If you cannot apply for the training online, print and fill in the application and bring it to the TE Office.
