If you are interested in entrepreneurship, get in touch with your local TE Office to help you get started. Did you know that you can try running a business for four months before it starts affecting your unemployment benefits?
Your right to unemployment benefits begins at the earliest on the first day you register as a customer at the TE Office. You can register in advance but you must register at latest on your first day of unemployment. Once you have registered, you will have access to TE expert services, support for your job search and career choices, and versatile events and training.
According to legislation, persons under the age of 25 without qualification from vocational skills training must apply for two study places by 31 August. If you are still a customer of the TE Office on 1 September 2020, your right to unemployment benefits will be reviewed.
