Part-time work and payment of adjusted unemployment benefits becomes more flexible starting from 1 April 2019.
In the future, income from part-time work will no longer affect the unemployment benefit of the same month, but the adjustment will be made to the benefit of the following month instead. The purpose of this is to avoid discontinuities in the payment of unemployment benefit.
Another change affecting the unemployment benefit is the Incomes Register introduced at the beginning of 2019. The Incomes Register will make it easier to report pay details to different authorities.
