Already at the beginning of September, the Työmarkkinatori Job Market will have an entirely new look. In comparison to the current service, the greatest changes will be a new interface, designed in cooperation with clients, and the opportunity for jobseekers to browse through available jobs without signing in.
For the employer, the most significant reform is the opportunity to search for suitable employees in the Job Market by using different search criteria and without the need to publish a job advertisement.
The Job Market will include situation-based guidance to the provision of public services without the need to log in (e.g. the packages “Interested in self-employment” and “Unemployed or facing unemployment” for personal customers, and “Seeking a new employee” and “Seeking personnel development” for employer customers). Descriptions of different professions and professional fields, and interviews with professionals from various sectors assist people in choosing a career. These services will also be available without the need to log in.
The Job Market will also gain a new look in connection with the introduction of the new version.
Until now, the Job Market has consisted of two project sites constructed at different stages: the Työmarkkinatori.fi page including content and news, and the Työmarkkinatori Job Board page enlisting available vacancies. At the start of September, these two will merge into one customer-centred digital service.
User profiles in the previous Job Board will be automatically transferred to the new website. Similarly, all the job listings in the old Job Board will be transferred to the new service.
